- This is a description from Livingston's seed catalog:
- "LIVINGSTON'S NEW YELLOW OXHEART. We are fortunate in being able to offer this new variety of the Oxheart type, and feel sure all of our customers for the Livingston's Oxheart will want to give this new yellow sort a trial the coming season. It is of the same shape as the original, but the skin and flesh are a rich shade of yellow. Some fruits show a little blush-pink on the blossom ens. A beautiful sort and of delicious flavor. Offered in packets only this season."
