Holy Land, Yellow Strain
From Tatiana's TOMATOBase
|Holy Land, Yellow Strain|
|Variety type||offtype, open-pollinated|
- 85 days, indet., regular leaf plant with good yield of 10-16 oz yellow fruit with some red marbling, excellent flavor.
- WI MI B 98 (Bill Minkey of Darien, Wisconsin) / NC LE C 91 (Craig LeHoullier of Raleigh, North Carolina)
- This variety appeared in Craig LeHoullier's garden in 1989 upon growing out a sample of Holy Land from MO BR E. The fruit were not nearly as large as that produced typically by the large yellow/red bicolors. Craig listed it in the SSE that year, but whether it is a cross, mix up or mutation was not clear; subsequent listings indicate that it is coming true.
