This is a yellow version of habanero pepper. 2" long and 1.5" wide peppers with a tapered end. Delicious flavor and fruity aroma. Very hot! (limited, 15 seeds / packets)

History

  • According to Wikipedia, habanero chilis come from the Amazonas region, and it was spread through Mexico. The first domesticated habanero was dated at 8,500 years old, and it was found at an archaeological dig in Mexico.
  • Common colors are orange and red, but there are also white, brown, and pink habanero peppers available.
