Dwarf Shadow Boxing
|Dwarf Shadow Boxing|
|Fruit color||red, striped|
|Fruit shape||plum, pointed|
|Variety type||unstable segregation line|
- 55 DTM. F2-F3 by Tom Wagner, Dwarf segregated by me to stability, around F4-F5. It tastes sour and sharp like most antho types. Pretty decent productivity, disease resistance, small plant size, and earliness make it worthwhile for me, although the flavor could use improvement.
Year grown: 2013
- The original cross (Shadow Boxing) was made by Tom Wagner of New World Seeds & Tubers . F2 or F3 seeds were released, and there are likely many different segregation lines are out there, as gardeners save and trade seeds.
- This particular line was grown and stabilized by Phil Seneca of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2011-2013, from F2 or F3 seeds received from New World Seeds & Tubers .
