Started slow, like many plants this year (in part due to being crowded), but it came to produce a fair number of large pears (quite large for pear-shaped tomatoes, I mean, but medium-sized for tomatoes). They're green when ripe, and it's difficult to know when to pick them. The taste is among the best of the 100 or so varieties I grew this year. It tasted kind of fruity (and the best-tasting one I had was afflicted with blossom-end rot: the only one on the plant I had with BER, actually). The seeds of my fruits were very, very small, but they appeared to be mature. This is another I plan to grow again (but next time in an accessible location, preferably caged, so I can easily feel how soft the fruit is).
