History

  • Introduced in 1923 by A. Livingston. Livingston's 1933 seed catalog says:
"An early, bright rosy pink variety, coming into bearing close up to Earliana. It is smooth, and the very solid, fleshy fruits ripen evenly and are surprisingly free from cracks about the stem. It is a very fine slicing sort, being of mild and delicious flavor. A good strong grower of vigorous foliage. A heavy yielder."
