- Late season. Very long green cucumbers that have spikes on the skin, can be up to 1-1.5' long. Most of the fruit were deformed, probably because of partial pollination. I expected smooth skinned cucumbers, as the seed packet's picture showed, so it was a disappointment to get the spiky fruit with somewhat tough skin. Not our favorite cucumbers.
