B.C KO T

Indet., regular leaf plants. Small saladette fruits are glossy red and oval in shape. Large fruit trusses. Very impressive yields. Early in our garden. Keeps very well on the counter after picking, and does not go mushy like some over cherries. Outstanding flavor.

Seed source:

Michael Johnson, UK 07

Year grown: 2014

Location: Zone 7b, PNW, Anmore, BC, Canada (760 ft above sea level)

History

  • This line originated from Jasper F1 hybrid vended by Wallis Seeds in the early to mid 2000s.
  • Michael Johnson from UK saved seeds from Jasper F1 hybrid and made an attempt at de-hybridizing it. He sent two segregation lines to Tatiana Kouchnareva (B.C KO T) in 2007, one with oval fruit, and the other with round fruit.
