History

• A family heirloom from Cumberland County in Kentucky, it was grown by the Jones family for at least three or more generations. Original seed came from Harry Jones, Crestwood, Cumberland County, Kentucky. The tomato is named for Harry's grandfather T.C. Jones.
• Gary Millwood of Louisville, Kentucky shared the seeds with some commercial seed vendors, including Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds , Blue Ribbon Tomatoes , Tatiana's TOMATObase Seeds , and Southern Exposure Seed Exchange .
