Very productive. A friend who tried mine said they were the best-tasting tomatoes he had ever had. I thought they were pretty good, too (and though I like the flavor, I like it more for the texture). The fruit-quality and size was similar to that of Creole (which I also grew in 2016, from the same seed source), but Thessaloniki was later to mature and more productive. The large fruits are very easy to find and harvest. They are also easy to process. They have thick walls and nice texture. This is one of my top two favorites in 2016 (Matina was the other); I grew about a hundred varieties. It was somewhat later than expected, but production and overall satisfaction quite made up for it. I saved seeds to grow again in 2017. It was one of the few large-fruited varieties that wasn't ever mealy for me, in 2016. The fruit size, shape, taste and texture were all very consistent. I didn't see anything like catfacing, blossom scars or such on it. I didn't see any fruit blemishes. Mine weren't acidic, but we probably did have wood ash in the soil (with peat moss to balance the pH), which wood ash may decrease fruit acidity and may also account for the larger-than-otherwise-reported size.
