It was incorrectly spelled as [[Mikado Violetta]] up until 2006. * There was also a variety [[Mikado Violehrot]] offered in the Seed Savers 1992 Yearbook by Curtis D. Choplin of Augusta, South Carolina (SC CH C), who described it as potato leaf, small pink, and who said the seed came to him from Prof. Klapprott, Germany.
