* Found by Denise Salmon of Vancouver, BC, Canada in a neighborhood garden in 1999. Origin and variety name unknown, and it could be a known commercial variety or hybrid common in Vancouver nurseries.
* Denise named this tomato 'Kits Find' after the area where she found it (Kitsilano, Vancouver), and shared it with Darrel Jones, Alabama and John Smarsz in Australia. Darrel grew out the seeds in 2003 and reported very prolific plants with pink fruits, although Denise noted it as red.
* First offered in the Seed Savers 2003 Yearbook by Bill Minkey of Darien, Wisconsin (WI MI B), who received seeds from John Smarsz of Woden Act, Australia in 2002.
* Introduced commercially in by [[:Category:Tomato Seeds|Tatiana's TOMATObase Seeds]] in 2015.
