History

  • Russian variety from Tamara Yaschenko's collection. The seeds were obtained by Tatiana Kouchnareva (B.C KO T) in a large seed exchange with Tamara in 2006. Tamara has been growing it in her garden and saving and sellings seeds for years. History is not known.
  • Despite a very similar name, this is not the same tomato as Rozovyi Izum (Розовый Изюм) introduced to SSE by Andrey Baranovski of Minsk, Belarus in 2007. Rozovyi Izum tomato is an early Russian commercial variety with small pink saladette / large cherry fruits.
