History

• Developed by Rocco Calogero, a Canadian gardener from Vancouver, by selecting the best of his crop for over twenty years for the best paste tomato. Rocco was the winner of the 'Best Food Garden In Vancouver' Contest in September 2000.
• Denise Salmon of Vancouver, BC, Canada received the seeds from the Maple Street compost garden in 2000, who, in turn, obtained the seed directly from Rocco Calogero.
