History

  • A very old family heirloom that came to North America from Italy more than 100 years ago.
  • It has been in a family of Steve and Diane Raque of Virginia, and originally came from Diane's grandfather, Mr. Mastrodomenico, who brought the variety from Italy when he immigrated to the USA.
  • First offered in the Seed Savers 2000 Yearbook by Robert Burns, Hebron, Maryland (MD BU R).
