Romaine lettuce with delicate green leaves flecked with wine-red splotches. Texture and flavor of butterhead lettuce.

Attractive, delicate medium green leaves in a loose upright rosette, leaves splashed with maroon spots, nice sweet flavor and very pretty. Cold tolerant, does well in early spring, and also does reasonably well into early summer. Light gray seed.
