History

  • Kentucky heirloom. According to Blue Ribbon Tomatoes , this variety was grown by Dixie Hornbeck of Grayson County, Kentucky. It's named David's Pink because it was her son David's favorite tomato.
  • First offered in the Seed Savers 2012 Yearbook by Maria Stenger, Kentucky (KY ST M), who obtained the seeds from a neighbor of Dixie Hornbeck.
