- First offered in the Seed Savers 1995 Yearbook by Carolyn Male of Salem, New York (NY MA C) and Bill Minkey of Darien, Wisconsin (WI MI B); both obtained the seed from Norbert Parreira, France in 1992.
- Introduced commercially by Tatiana's TOMATObase Seeds in 2016.
