History

  • The seed for this variety was obtained by Douglas Wallace of Minnesota from a local Amish woman in the late 90s/early 2000s, along with Todd County Amish seeds. These tomatoes came with the generic names "German Non-acid" and "Non-acid", and were named by Douglas (it is unclear which became which).
  • This variety may be of German origin. No history was provided by the Amish family.
  • Introduced in 2004 Seed Saver Yearbook by Carolyn Male of Salem, New York (NY MA C).
